After some brainstorming with the company directors, my main goal was to craft a website that guarantees a seamless booking experience for their clients. Whether it's booking a blowout or braiding session, we wanted it to be a breeze. While the site was built on Squarespace, the booking features provided by their acuity app did not offer as much feature’s and the additional visibility needed to attract their audiences compared to available applications in the beauty industry. So, we set out to find a solution as unique as The Happy Place itself.
Enter Vagaro – the perfect fit, both in functionality and affordability! With a bit of coding involved, I seamlessly integrated Vagaro into their website, offering a plethora of features to meet their every need. From easy profile updates to smooth deposit handling and even the option for gift vouchers – Vagaro had it all, without breaking the bank! With Vagaro, they also have their own dedicated page on the app, providing yet another avenue to attract clients. And the best part? The potential to evolve this into their very own app down the line!
Another crucial aspect was that the client aimed to expand beyond blow dry services and clothing sales to include hosting events, necessitating their website to inform potential customers accordingly.
To maintain the buzz and anticipation, I equipped them with a user-friendly calendar, enticing visitors to frequently visit the website. This calendar serves a dual purpose as a strategic marketing tool, enticing visitors to subscribe for monthly updates on upcoming events. The goal is to cultivate a vibrant community around The Happy Place, evolving it from a mere store into a lively destination for both locals and visitors alike!
